Men's Advance!

April 5-6 (7)

One Night. Three Meals. Three Sessions.

Men’s Advance! begins with an 8pm Friday chapel and ends with a delicious Saturday dinner. This is the perfect spring weekend format! Church men’s groups can use Camp Lebanon’s annual Men’s Advance! to challenge men in their walk with Christ.  The intensive Bible study is life relevant and goes deeper with small group follow-up discussions. There’s also time for fun with laser tag, wiffleball, foosball, pool, pingpong, carpetball, power sleeping, and more! Men’s Advance! is a retreat designed to encourage men both in their walk with Christ and in fellowship with other Christian men

Theme & Speakers

Sexual Integrity: Grace, Holiness & Freedom

Pornography and other sexual sin is the invisible ball and chain keeping men, marriages, and even local churches from experiencing the joys of freely walking to and with Jesus. What if this issue were dealt with head-on in God’s grace and Gospel truth? What if each man – young or old, leader or congregant – were given hope about his own struggle? Or insights on how to help an enslaved loved one? Imagine the benefits both for a man’s everyday life and on a church’s fruitfulness! Through prayer and regular, authentic, compassion-filled discussions about porn’s effects and remedies, men can loosen the enemy’s grip on God’s people.

SPEAKER:
PAUL KLASSEN

As the Executive Director of Broken Strength Ministries, Paul helps local churches disciple men, especially in the area of sexual integrity. Paul and wife, Becky, live in Buffalo MN with their two youngest. They also have four adult children (two married) and one grand. A graduate of UNW-SP (1990) and Phoenix Seminary (MDiv 1997), Paul served as a youth pastor for ten years before moving to Melrose in 2011 to plant Birch Hills Community Church. Relational and gentle-spirited, Paul loves serving in whatever capacity God opens, feeling blessed to do so in the context of his own redemption story. Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect through weakness.”
