Welcome back to Super Kids 4! On Monday afternoon, campers enjoyed a game of “Capture the Cones” and got ramped up for free time. It was a beautiful, picturesque afternoon and campers enjoyed activities like swimming, boating, canteen, crafts, laser tag, zip line, and maybe even a nap! After free time was over, we met at the Steps of Faith for flag lowering and enjoyed dinner. The evening was finished off with a game of “Free the Sheep” (ask your camper about it!), evening free time, and chapel with our speaker, Curtis Roth. Our visiting music team from Texas led a beautiful time of worship, and then Curtis spoke about Jesus being our “Present Provider,” meeting our needs FOR us as He is WITH us always. What a Good Shepherd!
Tuesday morning started off with a refreshing polar dip, breakfast sandwiches, and a morning chapel featuring Barbara the Sheep. (Ask your camper more about Barbara!) Campers enjoyed options and cabin adventure before enjoying a delicious, always nutritious Camp Lebanon lunch. This afternoon, campers are currently enjoying the ever-popular staff hunt and will head off to another adventurous day of free time!
This year’s theme verse is John 10:10-11: “The thief is come only to steal, kill, and destroy, but I am come that you might have LIFE and have it to the FULL! I am the GOOD SHEPHERD. The GOOD SHEPHERD lays down his life for the sheep.”
Super Kids 4 campers are memorizing this scripture passage this week with the help of some pretty fun actions! Ask your camper to recite it for you!
