Greg is a 1991 graduate of Northwestern College (now UNW). He spent 20 years in vocational ministry, including four years on the Camp Lebanon staff, culminating in seven and a half years as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Whitehall, Wisconsin. In 2013, he transitioned into a new career in financial services, where he served for ten years. In 2023, God called him back to Camp Lebanon, and in December of 2024 he stepped into his current role as Executive Director.

Greg doesn’t come to Dads ’N’ Lads (and Grandpas) as an expert; he comes as a participant. He has been a son for 57 years, a dad for 31 years, and a grandpa for six years. One thing he has learned is that we should never stop learning. Men are always being trained and are always training others for something … so why shouldn’t our goal be to train Men of God?

Greg and his wife, Jill, live in Long Prairie, Minnesota. They have two daughters and a son, along with a daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, and five grandsons. Away from Camp he enjoys hunting, fishing, reading and studying history, and serving on worship teams at his church. In recent years he has discovered and embraced the exciting new pastime of playing games and eating ice cream with his grandsons
