Tuesday of Junior High 1 here at Camp was packed with crazy fun activities and meaningful conversations. This morning, after Polar Dip and a delicious breakfast, campers once again had time to spend alone with God. Then, clinics and seminars today featured knitting, improv acting, basketball, a class on science and creation, and several others. We also learned a new memory verse this morning; today we learned Colossians 3:12.
In chapel this morning, the girls talked about Loving Your Neighbor and the guys talked about Responsibility and Integrity. Then after another delicious lunch and another funny mail call skit, it was time for FREE TIME!!!
Today, free time featured tie-dye, slack-lining, boating, swimming, and the chance to ride the Screamin’ Eagle Zipline!
This evening, we picnicked on the grass outside of Camp’s new Eagle’s Nest building on the North 40 field. We had some tasty burgers, potato salad, and s’mores cookies! Then our traditional Junior High volleyball tournament commenced! There was a lot of laughter, goofy games, good sportsmanship, and cabin bonding. The first volleyball tournament of the summer was a success!
Now, the campers are relaxing with some Canteen time before evening chapel. We are excited to hear what our speaker Phil Campbell brings us tonight! Tune in tomorrow for more fun!
