Closing Adventure

We had an awesome week, and we can't believe it's over already!

This short week just flew past in the blink of an eye! It’s already time to say goodbye to our Adventurers!

Last night at the campfire, we had so much fun! We had one last round of “Gorilla Gets the Man,” worship, a story from Bobber Bill, and we went on a Lion Hunt! To close the night, we did our traditional “Praise God” yell towards the lake for all to hear.

Take Camp Home: Ask your camper what obstacles Bobber Bill and Rich had to go through with their horses on the Lion Hunt!

This morning, campers got up for polar dip, flag raising, learning their last memory verse (Colossians 3:14), and then breakfast.

Once they finished their breakfast, they went back to their cabins to clean up and pack. After cleaning, campers got to go on one more cabin adventure with their counselors.

Afterwards, the closing rally began! The campers, along with their parents got to see the slideshow and video of all the fun stuff we did this week. Then, we headed outside to worship, announce prizes, and pie some staff members!

We also got to sing happy birthday to our wonderful Director of Youth Ministries Rich!

To close, we thanked God for a really great week!

Campers then checked out of their cabins with their parent, and everyone joined us for a picnic lunch!

Take Camp Home: Ask your camper what their favorite memory from this week is!

This was a great week, and we are so thankful to have had such a great group of campers. We are praying for safe travels home! We hope your campers had a great week here, and we would love to see them again next summer! Long live the King!

  1. Thanks so much for doing this blog! It was a great way to see what they were up to! The link to the Google Drive takes me to the group photo, is there supposed to be more?
