We are to our last full day of Super Kids 1! This week has flown by, but we have had a fantastic time with these Super Kids having The Funnest Fun at Camp. Their endless laughter and fun-loving presence have filled Camp with joy. While we are sad the week is coming to an end, the fun doesn’t stop quite yet!
Picking up where we left off yesterday, after Skillz and Cabin Adventures, it was time for lunch, Toes-Up-Time, and then a game – Land and Sea Lay! This game involved a variety of relay races both on the lower field, and the waterfront. The campers LOVED this game! Next, it was free time. A common choice among campers is the waterfront for swimming, and it was definitely the perfect weather for swimming with camp friends – new and old!
After flag lowering and dinner, it was time for Carnival! This is always a favorite in Super Kids weeks. Earning tickets for cabin points? Yes, please! Getting to dunk your counselor or another staff member? Of course! And lots of fun little games? So fun! After the fun of Carnival, it was time to head into the main hall for Chapel, with our speaker, Shane. At Chapel, Shane talked about how Jesus represents the LIGHT! That it was because God loves us so very deeply, that He entered into the world through His one and only Son, Jesus. Remember, Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Cling to this truth today, and encourage your camper to do the same!
When Jesus is in you, YOU have the power to represent Jesus Christ!

This beautiful Wednesday morning started out with Polar Dip, and lots of campers are still eager to jump in the lake first thing in the morning. What a way to wake up! After flag raising and breakfast, it was time for Chapel where we heard from our very own Bobber Bill! After Skillz, Cabin Adventures, lunch, and Toes-Up-Time, it is finally free time. Campers can enjoy a variety of activities, and it’s always fun to see what they choose to do, and to see them all having fun!
TAKE CAMP HOME
Talk with your camper about Chapel last night. Ask them why God entered the world through Jesus. Can they tell you how they’ve seen or experienced that God is Light?
