Ringing in the New Year with the Ministry Team

The new year is here, and Camp Lebanon is starting 2025 with an incredible lineup of January events! From Winter Family Camp to Mega Fun for grades 3-6, Arctic Blast and Arctic Adventure for youth groups, and hosting The North Church, January is packed with opportunities for fun, growth, and fellowship. With record attendance on track, we’re excited to welcome so many guests to experience Camp Lebanon.

In addition to a busy January, the Ministry Team is prioritizing four strategic goals for 2025:
  1. Unifying Programming Around A “Steps of Faith” Theme Inspired by our historic amphitheater, this theme will guide our efforts to:
    • Collaborate as ministry team on biblically rooted materials and practical resources for individuals and families.
    • Provide take-home tools to help guests take meaningful and achievable steps of faith.
    • Design impactful programming that aligns with Camp’s mission and vision.
    • Steward resources well by sharing materials and ideas across programmed events and guest stays.
  2. Enhancing Men’s Programming We’ve committed to improving men’s retreats by leveraging core staff strengths to plan events with relevant teaching and practical tools. Our aim is to better equip men to lead in their homes, churches, and communities while maintaining the fun and fellowship that make these events special.
  3. Building on the Success of the Elevate Internship Program The Elevate Internship Program wraps up its inaugural year this summer, and we’re excited to launch the second year this fall. The program continues to grow as we celebrate the interns’ impact and refine how we serve them. These young leaders are helping to pioneer a program with lasting potential, and we’re eager to see how God uses it.
  4. Strengthening Ministry Team Staffing We’re working to expand the Elevate Discipleship Program by increasing the number of participants. Additionally, we plan to hire a key position to assist with guest ministries. A job description for this role will be posted online early this January.
The year ahead holds great promise, and it all begins with a huge January. We’re ready to embrace the opportunities knowing each step is guided by God’s faithfulness. Here’s to an amazing 2025 at Camp Lebanon!
