INSPIRING CHAPELS

We believe that learning about God is the most exciting, important thing about time spent at Camp Lebanon.  In our daily chapels, women will worship together and learn about Jesus from our incredible speaker for 2026, Heidi Lee Anderson.

THEME:
"Tenacious Surrender"

Sometimes we face doubts or fears that keep us from moving forward. Sometimes things go wrong, or don’t go the way we hoped. And in those moments, we find ourselves asking, “Where are you, God?”

In the heart of Minnesota’s winter, we’ll gather to explore four powerful stories from Scripture—stories of people who had to surrender to God’s will even when they didn’t understand. Through their journeys, we’ll discover that surrender isn’t giving up—it’s choosing to trust God with fierce, unwavering faith.

This is the heart of Tenacious Surrender: holding on to God even when everything else feels uncertain.

SPEAKER: Heidi Lee Anderson

Heidi Lee Anderson is author of P.S. It’s Gonna Be Good and All In, All Yours, speaker, and stay-at-home mom. While crafting devotionals for hundreds of thousands of followers on social media @heidileeanderson, she’s a master at cleaning up Cheerios spills and building LEGO towers while simultaneously chugging coffee like a Gilmore. Heidi has spent her career doing ministry—from teaching hundreds in kids’ ministry to writing daily devotionals, Bible reading plans, and small group curriculum as a content developer for adults. After being diagnosed with cancer, Heidi’s fuel is now to make sure that Christ-followers realize, know, and claim the sure promises God offers—in the mundane, amid the heartache, and on top of the highest mountains.

HOST: Cassie Jean Louis

Cassie is Camp’s Women’s Ministry Director. She is wife to Al and mother to four children, and knows how to uplift and encourage women of all ages and backgrounds. She will lead the weekend and help campers enjoy “A Meeting Place With God” to its fullest!

WORSHIP LEADER: Jon Finke

Jon is the Student Ministry Pastor at Village Church in Maple Plain, MN. He is married to his camp sweetheart, Erin, and together they have two kids: Josiah and Laura! He loves all things Lord of the rings, Star Wars, and board games!
