Super Kids 4 was an incredible way to wrap up the summer at Camp Lebanon! As the final week of the summer, the week was filled with excitement, laughter, friendship, and meaningful moments that gave campers and staff one last opportunity to make memories together as the summer came to a close.
Campers spent their days enjoying all the activities that make Camp Lebanon special. They soared through the trees on the zipline, battled each other in the laser tag arena, cooled off at the waterfront, and showed their creative side in the craft room. Campers also learned new skills with activities like the rock wall and fishing and made the most of every opportunity to try something new alongside their friends and counselors.
The games brought even more energy to the week. Campers competed in Free the Hostage, working together to find staff members hiding on the opposite team’s side without being caught. Water Wars provided plenty of splashing, laughter, and friendly competition, a perfect way to cool off. During Builders in Action, cabins worked together to complete different challenges, testing their teamwork, creativity, and determination.
While the activities and games filled the week with fun, chapel was at the heart of Super Kids 4. Our speaker, Anne, encouraged campers to discover what it means to find their security in Christ. Throughout the week, campers were reminded that the things of this world can change, but Jesus provides a steady and secure foundation. Through worship, teaching, and cabin conversations, campers were encouraged to place their trust in Christ and remember that their identity and security can be found in Him.
As the final week of summer, Super Kids 4 was also a special time to celebrate everything God had done throughout the season. Every laugh, game, activity, and chapel conversation became part of the memories that made this summer so special.
As the final campers headed home, there was plenty to celebrate, and plenty to be thankful for. Super Kids 4 was the perfect way to close out another incredible summer at Camp Lebanon! Until next summer, we’ll be holding onto the memories and looking forward to all that God has in store!
