Sandy Abeler, 89, successfully swam across Cedar Lake (nearly 1/2 mile in distance) to help raise money so more kids can come to Camp and hear the good news about Jesus! This year marked her 5th consecutive year of swimming the lake at Camp Lebanon. Over the years she has raised more than $25K in scholarship funds for Camp. To put that in perspective, Camp will give nearly $40K of scholarships this year, so Swimming Grandma is making quite the impact.
