Theme: “A Mighty Fortress is Our God”

Five-hundred years ago, Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of All Saints’ Church in Wittenberg, Germany. With that bold action, the protestant movement was born. People today are still inspired by Luther’s faith. We are also encouraged by his most famous hymn and for good reason! In our day of chaos, conflict, and uncertainty, the need for an unwavering trust in an unmovable God is greater than ever. In the course of his struggles, Luther urged on his friend, Phillip Melanchthon, saying, “Let’s go sing forty-six.” Let’s join them as we study the very psalm that drew the embattled theology professor into the comfort of Almighty God’s strong presence.

Advertised as a “taste of heaven,” the amazing people, vibrant hymn singing, inspiring teaching, and abundant laughter that fills Camp Lebanon’s Young at Heart Retreats and Senior Days prove its more than a mere slogan. Come alone or with a group in the fall, and again in the spring, for a day (or three!) blessed with delicious fun, sweet fellowship, and awesome beauty on the shores of Cedar Lake.

Geared for folks ages 55 and over, our Senior Adult events are a wonderful way to reconnect with old friends … and make a few new ones along the way!
