This week, we have been reflecting on the hope of spring and the joy of the coming Easter season. Not only does our staff get to spend time with their families over this holiday, but Camp gets to rest and reflect on the newness of this season. God is continually making all things new, and this season is a precious reminder of that truth.

Camp Lebanon has always been a place to appreciate new things, embracing building projects, opportunities to serve the local Church (Camp on Wheels, for instance!), and new events (Young Adult Retreats, Summer Sew, Fall Fire, etc).
This spring of 2017, we are excited to see all of the new things happening at Camp! In exactly 1 month, we will have the second spring YAR (Young Adult Retreat)! Since this event is so new to Camp, it is no wonder that we are continually finding surprising new ways to bless 18-35-year-olds. This spring, we are introducing the first ever Camp Lebanon FUNk, an obstacle course for a good cause, and a Bonus Day option, which gives people an extra day of fun at Camp! We can’t wait to see this event continue to grow and minister to young adults!
The Legends Field Wiffle Ball Stadium is another new project happening this spring, and this past week we got to see even more of the vision of this building project.

One of our driving passions as we head into ministry each year is to find new ways to reach our neighbors and our churches with the good news of Jesus. As a Camp, we long to see old and new faces coming up our driveway each week, because our mission is to provide those people with “a meeting place with God.”
As we go into this weekend, celebrating the death and resurrection of our Savior, we hope this will be a reminder of God’s continued faithfulness! Happy Easter! He is Risen!
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”
