The last hurrah of summer and a kick-off to the Fall Retreat season – our Labor Day Family Weekend always fills the fastest, and what an incredible weekend it was! We welcomed over 200 guests to Camp this weekend – families of all sizes came to enjoy The Funnest Fun at A Meeting Place with God, Camp Lebanon!
The weekend had some cooler temperatures to remind us that fall weather is on the way, but nevertheless, family campers spent lots of time outside! Whether they were playing in the chilly lake, boating, fishing, or hiking around Camp’s trails searching for the hidden medallion. As usual, campers could participate in lots of fun family activities, including Laser Tag, Zipline, soccer on the North 40 Field, boat races, dodgeball, a Home Run Derby, and a Carpetball Challenge!
Our speaker was Pastor Brett Lily, who led parents in some adult chapel times while kids went to different Kids Clubs for their age groups. We also had special guests, Brian and Mary Lubinski, who helped lead Kids Club for some of the younger campers and also daily Creation Hikes for anyone who was interested.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Labor Day Family Weekend! It is such a blessing to see so many families spending time together, and we hope to see you again next summer!
