As the week comes to a close, the staff have wrapped up their training and are resting over the weekend before campers arrive on Sunday.
On Tuesday, the team rallied as they planned out silly skits for campers to enjoy in the Variety Show. With a wide range of acts, everyone is sure to laugh and enjoy the evening.
The show debuted to Summer Sew quilters and was greeted with enthusiasm and passed with flying colors.
Wednesday morning started with an exciting adventure as the beloved swimming raft found its way back to the swimming area! Traveling first by road, the raft was towed to its anchor line by one of the pontoons to where it sits now, waiting to greet campers.
With the high temperatures during training, the annual Volleyball Tournament was postponed on more than one occasion. On Thursday with only one night left, the staff rallied and went to battle on the North 40, competing for the most fun!
After a close championship game, everyone headed to the lake to take a dip. We closed the evening off with a sweet time of worship as we sang a blessing over one another and the summer.
