Adventurers – Day 3

After a full day of play yesterday, campers slept well and woke up recharged.  Many headed down to the lake for another chance at Polar Dip before Flag Raising.

Breakfast followed with a tasty meal of cinnamon rolls, sausage, fresh fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs and oatmeal.  Campers headed back to their cabins to clean up before heading out on a Cabin Adventure!

TAKE CAMP HOME

Ask your camper about the Polar Dip!  Did they jump in both days?  Who did they go with? Was the water cold?

Parents greeted their campers before everyone gathered under the tent for the Closing Rally.  Campers got to share a taste of what they did during Camp including action songs and prizes for activities!  The champion took home a prize for biggest fish, it was 9 1/4 inches!

Bobber Bill reminded campers that God is the Mighty Savior and is always ready to rescue us.  In the Bible, Peter didn’t have to pray a long or fancy prayer.  He cried out to Jesus when he was sinking and Jesus saved him.  We can call on God because he is our Mighty Saviour!

Throughout the week, campers could say memory verses to their counselors and have their name put in a bucket to “pie” a staff member at the end of the week.  There were a lot of entries!  Let’s just say a few people will smell like whip cream on the way home. 🙂

Campers, thanks for a great few days!  We have loved having you here and hope to see you again soon!!
