Camp Journal
The World Awaits!
What a wonderful world it is, and what fun it was to explore with moms and daughters over this past weekend! We traveled all over the globe, from France to Tanzania, and learned all about missions and the different needs in those cultures. In chapels, we learned about God’s power, and how He is working around the world. We explored the things we can learn from other cultures, and how we can apply those in our lives.
When we weren’t traveling around the globe, we were having adventures right here at Camp Lebanon – zipline, boating, carpetball, and octoball! The weather was gorgeous, and it was even warm enough for some to take a quick dip in the lake or to kayak out to Turtle Bay.
There were themed dinners, the Passport Trip Around the World game, and chapels that explored other cultures and our role in bringing about the Great Commission – it was a very full weekend! Lots of laughter and love shared between families, and so much joy in learning more about Jesus and how to spread His light throughout the world. So many moms expressed how happy they were to have time away to have fun and conversation with their daughters – what a great accomplishment for a truly beautiful weekend!

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
– Matthew 28:18-20
