Our last full day of Camp for the week started with every junior higher’s favorite activity– sleeping in! We are thankful for the extra hour of sleep. After Polar Dip, we had a wonderful breakfast and more time alone with God. Then, in morning chapel, the girls talked about Standing Up for Your Sisters and the guys talked about Work. We have learned a lot in morning chapels this week and they have sparked some good discussions.
After lunch and mail call, we had clinics and seminars once more. The seminars that were taught this week also acted as a catalyst for good conversations and important questions. We are thankful for learning today!
We are also thankful for Free Time today. Today we swam, made crafts, rode the Screamin’ Eagle Zipline, and played a round of Continental Clash (soccer played with a football)! Tonight for dinner, we had another Camp favorite: calzones! We are thankful for these delightful giant pizza pockets.
Tonight in chapel, Nate Temp is finishing his time with the campers by talking about practical ways to live out faith once they go home. We are thankful for Nate this week and the things he has taught us.
We are finishing our last full day with being thankful for good weather as we get ready for our campfire at Bass Point; we’re looking forward to a great night!
