CAMP JOURNAL: Bringing Summer Camp to You!
Our second annual Camp On Wheels event was so much fun! 150 friends showed up at Meadow Creek Church in Andover, MN to celebrate the upcoming summer camp season. We had games, prizes, FREE ice cream, a pop-up Trading Post full of bargains on Camp Lebanon swag, and awesome camp songs with camp staff! We tried our best to bring the funnest fun to you!
There were many highlights from this event, and here are just a few that stood out to us!
- Crazy Games with Bobber Bill – it’s so much fun to see kids playing with each other and enjoying games that are The Funnest Fun!
- Playing Gorilla Gets the Man and singing other fun camp songs with the staff!
- Seeing plans to the new gym that is being built in the upcoming years – exciting to dream about what God is building at Camp Lebanon!
- The Funnest Bracket Challenge – exciting to dream with people who love Camp for new things that we might do down the road! Plus, who doesn’t love a good rubber chicken toss? Check out the results of the bracket challenge here!
- FREE ice cream – as our Director of Youth Ministries always says, “There’s always room for ice cream!”
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us! We love to see how much you love Camp Lebanon, and we love getting to load everything up and come down for a visit. We hope that you will visit us sometime in 2018. Continue to keep Camp in your prayers as we head into summer – pray for an amazing Summer Staff team, energy for our year-round staff, and that Camp would make a huge impact for Christ in the lives of families and individual youth campers in 2018!
