Super Kids 1 – Day 3

Good evening from the Super Kids at Camp Lebanon!

Last night at chapel, Darla talked about God our Great Savior!  She showed us how God spoke everything into being except humans.  He formed us with his hands!  God was very intentional when he created us and loves us deeply.

We saw how just like a judge would not overlook the offense of his own child, God could not overlook our sin and still be a fair judge.  He loves us so much however, that he payed the penalty in our place!

Campers had an opportunity to hear the Gospel and respond at evening Chapel.

Ask your camper how they responded and encourage them to share decisions of faith with others!

Day two dawned with clear skis and many campers headed to the lake.  While many jumped in for the second Polar Dip, others dropped lines off the fishing docks.  The current record is a 12 1/2″ Bullhead!

After lunch, campers played Splash Dash!  Cabins visited different stations, completing tasks with water in order to receive beads.  The first cabin to gather a bead from each station won!  It was a great way to cool off and head into free time!

During the Splash Dash, campers got to try all kinds of fun games.  Some were strategy games, others were skill related, some of them left counselors very wet!

See which one’s your camper liked best!

Free time fun  included riding the Screamin’ Eagle Zipline, playing laser tag in the woods and back to the water front for more fun in the sun!

Today was tie-die day!!  Campers picked the pattern they wanted and colored glow in the dark Camp Lebanon T-Shirts with a graphic of the waterfront.

This evening campers are headed to the Wiffle Ball Field to play at the Carnival!! There are lots of fun games to play.  Campers can get their hair colored or dunk their counselor in the Dunk Tank!

After the Carnival we will have Chapel in the tent before it’s off to bed.  It’s been another fun day at Camp!
