Wow! It feels like we blinked and Junior High 1 is already over! What a fun week we have had!
Campers enjoyed the Campfire at Bass Point last night! After some favorite action songs and a short message from Katie, we got to do a “Praise God” shout! Everyone shouts “Praise God!” facing Cedar Lake and we can hear the echo bounce back from the other side! It was a beautiful evening with the moon rising orange over the lake.
We are so glad we got to celebrate the end of Camp with everyone this morning! The Closing Rally is a fun time reuniting campers with parents. Katie encouraged us to remember what a Mighty Savior God is! After awards for the largest fish and the Gorilla gets the Man champion, campers who said memory verses to their leaders got to be in the drawing to pie a staff member. That is always a favorite memory for campers and leaves a sweet taste in staffs’ mouths. 🙂
Thank you to everyone who came to Camp, both the campers who spent the week with us and families who joined in the fun! We look forward to seeing you again soon!!
