What an incredible 50 hours at camp! Adventurers was packed with exciting activities, new friendships, and meaningful moments as campers experienced all the fun camp has to offer while learning about the greatest builder of all.
Throughout the week, campers jumped into exciting games and activities that kept the energy high from start to finish. Water Wars was the perfect way to cool off as campers teamed up with their cabins for a splash-filled battle full of laughter and friendly competition. During Builders in Action, campers worked together to complete creative challenges that tested their teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity while trying to build the tallest structure.
One of the biggest highlights was the carnival, where campers enjoyed games and plenty of opportunities to make memories with their friends. On the last night came to an end, everyone gathered around the campfire at Bass Point to sing songs, go on a lion hunt, and reflect on everything God had done throughout their time at camp.
While the activities made the week unforgettable, chapel was the heart of Adventurers. Throughout the week, campers discovered that God is the ultimate Builder, creating each of us with purpose and love. They learned that sin broke the build, separating us from God and leaving us unable to repair the relationship on our own.
The good news didn’t stop there. Campers heard how Jesus fixes the build through His death and resurrection, making a way for us to be forgiven and restored to God. In their final chapel of the week, they were reminded that Jesus is our foundation, the solid rock we can build our lives upon. No matter what challenges come our way, a life built on Christ is one that will stand firm.
Even though Adventurers lasted just 50 hours, God worked in powerful ways. Through chapel, cabin discussions, games, and time spent together, campers left encouraged, challenged, and reminded that the strongest foundation we can ever build on is Jesus Christ.
