What a fun week we’ve had!! Families came from far and wide to spend a week relaxing, connecting with God, and making memories.
With lots of activities to try, canteen options, family games like World Cup Soccer, and home-cooked meals, everyone found something to enjoy!
We were blessed to have James Alan Hall along with his wife, Whitney, lead us in worship this weekend, even teaching us some new action songs! Matt Stacy opened The Word through everyday illustrations. As we looked at God as our Mighty Savior, we saw that he is working on us. Just like a piece of wood is not finished until it is oiled at the end, we are a work in progress and God will complete the process when he returns.
Camp echoed with shouts of joy as families rode the Screamin’ Eagle Zipline, played Crazy Kickball, and competed in Boat Races! Relationships were strengthened as generations gathered around the craft room tables, making String Art, designing Shadow Boxes, and doing Velvet Art.
The Campfire is always a favorite at Camp and with a “Praise God” shout and an incredible Lion Hunt, Thursday evening was a delight! The Gorilla Gets the Man champion from earlier in the week came back to sweep the title of Champion for the week!
Families, we have loved serving you this week!! We are so glad you were able to join us at Camp Lebanon and hope you return home with a stronger relationship with God and each other!
