Fall Men’s Retreat – Feeling Like New Men!

Read a quick recap of our Fall Men's Retreat, with a link to more photos!

This past weekend at Camp Lebanon was our Fall Men’s Retreat! The theme of the weekend was “I Feel Like a New Man,” with Man Talks (4 separate chapel sessions) out of Colossians 3. In addition to the incredible teaching and discussion, men enjoyed beautiful weather for hiking, boating & fishing, horseshoe tournaments, trap shoots, laser tag, and zipline!

Each chapel session was led by a different speaker, who taught from a different section of the third chapter in Colossians. Men were challenged and encouraged in their faith, and were also given the chance to talk together in groups after each chapel session.

Men had lots of fun activities to participate in all weekend, including a trap shoot out at Bass Point, Pickleball on the tennis courts, and an intense Horseshoe tournament! They could also take rides down our Screamin’ Eagle Zipline, and play a few rounds of Laser Tag over by our open-air gazebo. Some men enjoyed a game of flag football down on the lower field, which ended with a quick dip in Cedar Lake to cool off (brr!).

During the afternoon, those who wanted to could enjoy the Hobby Highlight. Pastor Matt Stacey from Long Prairie, MN, demonstrated woodworking out on the Hub, while sharing some of his testimony. Men watched him complete some woodworking projects while learning more about Matt’s heart for ministry and his hobby!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Men’s Retreat! We had a great weekend, and we hope to see you again next fall!
