MEN OF HOPE - BOOTCAMP!

September 16-17, 2022

Registration NOW OPEN!

Gents, it's time for a retreat.

Men, it’s time to schedule a weekend away to unplug, retreat with other guys, and experience God away from the busyness of life.

Men of Hope Bootcamp is back for 2022 — with a twist! Since Camp Lebanon is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, we’ll hold Bootcamp as part of Camp’s annual men’s retreat the weekend of Sept. 16-17!

Hope (900x600)

We will still have our own lodging and meeting space, so we can hold many of our normal Bootcamp activities and have plenty of time to connect with other Hopesters. But because Bootcamp will be joining the larger retreat, we’ll be able to join guys from other local churches in worship and hear from some of Hope’s pastors in large group sessions as we study the Word of God. We’ll also have access to a wider range of activities than we normally have at Bootcamp — this year, you’ll have the option to go ziplining or trap shooting, head out on the lake for some fishing or participate in the retreat-wide Home Run Derby on Camp Lebanon’s famous Wiffle Ball field.

Bootcamp will run from Friday night to Saturday evening as usual.

Theme: "SWORD TRAINING"

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

When the sun appears, there is no need for a candle. Do we view Christ in the same supreme light? In the third chapter of Philippians, Paul pushes for us to remember the infinite value of Christ.  Do not set your mind on earthly things or put your confidence in your flesh. Know Christ. Gain Christ. Prioritize Christ. Trust Christ. Become like Christ. Hold true to Christ.  Why? Because Christ “will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body” and because through Christ we may “attain the resurrection from the dead.” Join us as we dive into God’s Word and remember the surpassing goodness of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord.
