Super Kids 3 – day 2

It has been a full first day filled with new adventures, new friends and so much fun!

Campers started the day off bright and early with the Polar Dip!  At the first bell ring of the day, campers could gather at the water front to jump in the lake.  At the end of the week there will be prizes for perfect attendance plus campers can earn cabin points towards a cabin party on the last night!

After Polar Dip everyone gathered at The Steps of Faith or the Amphitheater.  We raised the flag and and learned the first part of our memory verse, Titus 2:11-13.

TAKE CAMP HOME

There are actions that go along with the memory verse.  Ask your camper to teach them to you!

“For the grace of God that brings salvation, has appeared to all people, and it teaches us to say no to ungodliness but yes to living self-controlled, upright and Godly lives in this present time, while wait for the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Titus 2:11-13 (Camp Lebanon Version)

After a tasty lunch and toes up time (quiet time in cabins for campers to rest), everyone traveled over the hill to the North 40.  Campers played Shipwreck where they gathered treasure while trying to keep their vessel safe.  Cabins’ coves were brimming with treasure and the smiles said it was a success.

During free time, campers enjoyed the water front where they played on the Raft and the Rockit or the water volleyball court.  Cabins get to ride the Zipline over the next few days and shouts and cheers echoed from the valley as campers flew through the air.

TAKE CAMP HOME

Campers went on Cabin adventures with their Cabin this morning.  Ask your camper to share about it!

This evening campers played another game, Free the Hostage.  Similar to capture the flag, campers try to cross to the other side and find the hidden staff member.  They have to bring the hostage back without being tagged.

After the game, campers had free time before heading to evening Chapel.  Come back tomorrow to find out what we learned!  Now it is time for bed to rest up before another fun day tomorrow!
