At last night’s Chapel, Shane took campers through the story of the paralytic man in Matthew 9. Jesus is all powerful. He can make the lame man walk but he has the ultimate authority as he forgives sins. This is good news because we are all sinners. The first night we saw that nothing can separate us from the love of God, now we can rejoice because Jesus has the power to take away our sins and make us clean!

During devotions, campers read Romans 6:23. They answered the question, “Can Jesus save anyone?” Talk with your camper about it.
After a quick Polar Dip, campers gathered at The Steps of Faith for flag raising. Philippines cabin got to raise the flag as campers and staff stood at attention and said The Pledge of Allegiance. We learned the next part of our memory verse and did a Morning Movement to help wake up and stretch. Then it was time for breakfast where campers enjoyed, sausage, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, fresh fruit, a donut and oatmeal.
After morning Chapel, campers had option time where they could pick an activity to try. When the next bell rang, everyone met with their cabin for a Cabin Adventure! Groups played wiffleball, dodgeball or other fun activities!
After lunch and a short rest break, campers were excited and get wet as they jumped in the fun with the Splash Dash. Similar to the Amazing Race, campers travel with their cabins going to stations and completing different tasks in exchange for a bead. The first team to collect all the beads won! There are plenty of opportunities for campers and staff to get wet along the way!

After dinner, campers are gathering on the lower field for the Carnival! Always a favorite night of the week, campers can play games to earn tickets and spend tickets on hair chalk or the Dunk Tank! Come back tomorrow to hear more and find out what we learn in Chapel!
